At Bower Chiropractic and Wellness, our goal is to remove the mystery of what Chiropractic care is and how it can help patients with a range of conditions. Many people have heard of Chiropractic and some have tried it, but currently, less than 10% of the population is under Chiropractic care! We make it a mission to change that…

One reason why such a low percentage of the population seeks care is simply  due to the fact that they do not know what Chiropractic care is and how/what it can help. They may believe that chiropractors are “back doctors”, but they do not know specifically what these practitioners do. The fact is that chiropractors are experts in treating conditions of the spine, but can also treat extremities (shoulders, hips, arms, legs, hand, wrist, ankle, foot) as well. Let’s see how a Doctor of Chiropractic can evaluate and treat the spine…

The Doctor of Chiropractic will evaluate the spine and will locate and identify which vertebral segments of the spine need an adjustment. The areas that require an adjustment often have a lack of normal movement, or a motion restriction. These restrictions are often accompanied by pain or soreness, tight muscles, increased temperatures, or a decrease in range of motion. When a restriction is found, the chiropractor will utilize a Chiropractic adjustment to correct the lack of motion.

Chiropractic care is a hands-on technique that utilizes the Chiropractic adjustment to make changes to the body. The adjustment is a gentle and specific impulse that is designed to target an area of the spine that needs a correction…

If you are unsure about whether or not Chiropractic care will benefit you, we encourage you to come in for a consultation with the doctor! The doctor will work with you to reach your healthcare goals and will answer any of your questions along the way. We are excited to see you!
